A lot of people are saying that LP's new album is a dud. But what they don't understand is that LP is not one of those musical acts that stay tied to a signature sound for their entire careers. Obviously they're very drawn to experimentation ( otherwise how else could a rap rock metal band have been formed ) and they're defying , well , "genrefication" , if you will , by pushing their musical limits on " Minutes to Midnight".
