SOS, Mayday, or HAAAALP!!!

I need to get into college. Kolkata ones are ok because HS results aren't out yet. What about the Delhi ones?? What do I do, where do I go, and how do I proceed? Any help/advice/knowledge/sage wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Please? Pretty please with whipped cream and a strawberry on top?

Trisha, why don't you join school for sociopaths?
See, I tried there but I was denied-

a)For my age (post25)
b)Though my aspirations to be one were highly appreciated
my stint with formal education meant I was acadmically disqualified.

But having read few of your posts and having gone through the selection
procedure myself I don't see any difficulty in you getting through.

On a serious note, DU is the place to be. Juggle the jugad,
regroup resources but try to be there.

On a more serious note, Bhavan's evening program is not a bad option
either. At least you wont have the delusion that you are being taught
some serious stuff.

But since you confess to have read Rand, how can you ask
others to decide for yourself? It,s in the few pages of Fountainhead.

But tell you what don't take her seriously. She is as much enticing
on the exterior as she is fataltastic in the interior.

I liked what you write. wish you a good exam verdict and may you get
the worst college to bring the best out of you or vice-versa or whatever.

@ajay - thank you!! so flippant yet so insightful.....your comic timing leaves me amazed and slightly confused......is fataltastic a real word? as in fatal/futile but fantastic? or did u mean fatalistic??

Yeah its Fataltastic-Fatal+Fantastic
She is fatal when you fellow her, in personal and profesasional
both ways. I am telling you from whatever crooked way I tried to
follow her.But she is fantastic as the world she creates is matchless.
Thank the man/woman who introduced you to her at such an early age or
yourself if none. I havent read much of her than FH and Romantic Manifesto. In fact I tried but just couldnt finish rest. And it took me two re-reads to get a real hang on Fountainhead.

But DU is still my advice to you. Not for professors or heritage. But for the student mix there. Leave AB, SRK apart-Shekhar Kappor, Sudhir Mishra, Vishal Bhardwaj, Anurag Kashyap-this is real DU. Go find yourself there.

(your comic timing leaves me amazed )
No, it doesn't. Had that been the case you would've tried to
find more amazement at my place. Anyways, TRISHA ji, I request you
with folded hands, to have a look at my take on APPAM. Here-

Even I am amazed at your talent. No, really. I don't believe in God so would say "may your 'I' bless you."

Check out http://tr.im/northvssouth and http://tr.im/srcc (although I don't think you'd be interested in Eco). More to be put up soon - the ones you'll be interested in are LSR, Miranda, Gargi, JMC. I do hope you've sent in your form because the last date is 15th June. If you're applying for English Hons then there's a separate entrance test for that.
